We are fast approaching the end of the year, but there is no slowing up for the team here!
This month we have been putting the finishing touches on the next feature release, SuiteCRM 8.5 which we are aiming to have available week beginning 11th December. We had been intending on including an upgrade to Symfony 5.4 in this release, but have made the decision to drop it for now.
In addition to the release, we have had to look for an alternative to huntr, dev for security reporting and have also released another video in the masterclass series.
To find out more about what we have been up to, the reason why we are unable to upgrade to Symfony 5.4 at this time, and what our plans are for next month, check out our blog post here.

Good morning and thank you for the roundup.
In the meanwhile, if you donβt mind me asking, can we expect these issues to have been overcome in the latest 8.5 update? Like:
There are others but I believe these should be on top priority for fixes. Thank you.
Hello and thank you for the roundup.
Any news on when SuiteCRM 8.5 will be released and what bug fixes will be included in the release ?
Are we still on track for this week beginning 11th December or will it be delayed until Jan 24 ?
And is it a beta release or a production release ?
Thanks
Hi @Andrew_C,
We released SuiteCRM 8.5 earlier today and can confirm, this is a production release.
The release notes will explain what is included in this release.
Thanks
