Most popups/error messages say "UNDEFINED"

Hello!
I’ve got most popups or messages saying “UNDEFINED”
I have to guess what they would probably say, and click (and hope)

Version info:
Version 7.10.7

Sugar Version 6.5.25 (Build 344)

it’s been like this from day 1, but I’ve only just started using it this month.

Did you install from command line or web browser?

If command line, as which username?

Have you reset file owners and permissions?

How about an upgrade to the current supported version, is there any reason why you couldn’t upgrade to Suite 7.14.3 ?

It’s a two step process to get from 7.10.x to 7.14.3

  1. Download this, and install with the Upgrade Wizard, to upgrade to 7.13:
    Download SuiteCRM-Upgrade-7.10.x-to-7.13.4.zip (SuiteCRM)

  2. Install it with the Upgrade Wizard:
    Go to Admin
    Admin Tools
    Upgrade Wizard
    Follow the instructions on the page.

  3. Download this, and install with the Upgrade Wizard, to get from 7.13 to 7.14.3:
    https://suitecrm.com/download/141/suite714/563702/suitecrm-upgrade-7-13-x-to-7-14-3.zip

  4. Do step 2 (above) to install the upgrade to 7.14.3 (which you downloaded in step 3)…

Upgrade fails with message:
ERROR: There was an error during your upload, please contact an administrator for help.

  • Size of Upload (52335411 bytes) Exceeded Allowed Maximum: 10485760 bytes

Ah, yes. The upgrade file is bigger (52 MB) than PHP normally allows (10 MB).
To fix this, would you set these values in your php.ini file :

post_max_size = 100M
upload_max_filesize = 100M
memory_limit = 512M
file_uploads = On
max_execution_time = 180
