undefined loading

I tried this but still have the undefined

Hi mikebeck,

Back to this permission i ask my webhost to set the permission but still the loading and some modules have undefined.

Please check my above post about amarioussi’s php script.
It worked for me too.
Also after changing permissions do a ā€œQuick repair and rebuildā€ and use ctrl+ F5 to refresh your browser.

Hi erevodifosin,

i tried those steps and same undefined loading and some modules.

and also in my web browser when i view page source and click this www.mydomain.com/cache/jsLanguage/en_us.js?v=ENOzCAB6ea50cDftnzejEw

the result is:

Not Found

The requested URL /crm/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

@rasecianne

  1. What is the operating system where SuiteCRM is installed?
  2. Can you explain what you did in detail?
  3. How do you know that permissions were changed as they should? Please explain and show images, for example of the SuiteCRM root directory and of a couple sub-directories of root showing permissions
  4. Have set correctly also owner and group?
  5. Try also doing Quick Repair and Rebuild as well as rebuild the Javascript and the relationships (and, possibly, between each reset permissions again and again!)
  6. Have you checked config.php to make sure your permissions are set correctly also there? How about in inclusde/utils.php (there are two places in ths file).
  7. Check that the site_url is correct in config.php
  8. Try also doing Admin->Repair->Rebuild .htaccess
  9. Log out and re-log in
  10. try doing Ctrl-F5 after each step you perform

Hopefully, if you follow the above instructions the situation should improve.
If you are on a Linux machine you may try my script (obviously at your own risk) which in many occasions works better (as well as faster) than doing via FTP client, such as FileZilla

There is no ā€œCRMā€ folder inside my installations.

Have set correctly also owner and group?. what do you mean by this?

@rasecianne
Please go through my previous list and comment on each point starting from n. 1. There is no point in answering any of the following points if the Operating System is unknown. At least tell us if it is Unix/Linux or Windows

I understand your frustration but if you do not provide the requested information it is hard to help you

I used windows os, but i integrate my suitecrm to my webhost(hostgator).

Windows os with WAMP? If yes a had the same issue and I didn’t achieve to fix it. So i switched to a webhost.

[quote=ā€œerevodifosinā€ post=34925]

no i didn’t. Directly install to my webhost.

@rasecianne

Please answer the following:

You are now on Hostgator?

Did you do a fresh install on hostgator?

Did you copy your prior installation to hostgator?

Yes I’m on Hostgator.

Yes it is a fresh install on hostgator and i copy the installation to hostgator.

Sorry but be more precise.

Did you do a fresh installation on hostgator or did you copy your prior installation to hostgator. It is different.

sorry for that… it’s a fresh installation on hostgator.

OK. So far so good.

Did you set permissions before running the installation?

As far as i remember no. I think I set the permission after the installation.

OK. We have one problem.

Permissions have to be set up before installation (as well as after, and I recommend also during installation!)

Before we proceed further: how did you unzip the SuiteCRM package? Did you do it directly on Hostgator or first in Windows and then you uploaded the unzipped distribution on Hostgator?

first unzipped in windows and then upload to hostgator.

In that case should i remove and install again?

Sorry but I had to go. I am back

Do the following:

  1. go to the SuiteCRM web site and download the latest version (SuiteCRM-7.6.6.zip)
  2. upload it to the root folder of your website
  3. download the attached file called unz…zip and unzip it in your windows machine (there is only one file called unz.php)
  4. upload the file called unz.php to the same folder in which you uploaded SuiteCRM-7.6.6.zip
  5. open your browser and execute unz.php (you have to type in the address bar: http://www.yoursite.com/unz.php where you must replace ā€˜yoursite.com’ with the correct value)
  6. Once finished you will see a directory called SuiteCRM-7.6.6
  7. Rename this folder to ā€˜crm’ (or another name that you prefer
  8. download my file chperms.zip and unzip it in your windows machine (there is only one file called chperms.php)
  9. upload chperms.php inside the SuiteCRM folder (if you called it ā€˜crm’ you should upload it there)
  10. execute chperms.php ( http://www.yoursite.com/crm/chperms.php ) (you have to wait a few seconds since you will see no output
  11. Run the installation
  12. Run again chperms.php every time you finish one step of the installation

PS: all this presumes you already have created a database and that you know the user, password and url

Once done, please post back
