Yes AWS offers free hosting for a year. You can build the VPS however you like. Itās the lowest level plan but it should work for SuiteCRM and Mautic.
I set up an n8n server on it. Works great!

Hey Paul I successfully installed and instance in E2 along with lamp server and all the goodies (apace, mysql, php, etc)
It wasnāt easy but it was fun and challenging.
I will now move my suitecrm install over and install Maustic

I actually was able to install Mautic on Amazon Linux. One of the hardest things Iāve ever done, took me days. But I have the best teacher: Chatgpt - it solves almost every issue.
Have you done any vidoes on Mautic?
I know AWS is one if the most counter intuitive interfaces Ive ever used. Horrible.

Chatgpt is incredible, it is my own tech support person now. The way it converses with you like a real human (and expert) is downright scary.
Iām working with it now to get Suitecrm to run there as itās a lot different from the shared server.
It giving me step by step instructions on installing it, vhost configs, etc.
When I get to a part I donāt understand like installing a load balancer, then it leads me through that step by step.
Be careful with ChatGPT, I had it help me solve a space problem on a VPS last week and it talked me into deleting the entire server! Then said āWow, thats unfortunate, hope you have a backupā.
Thankfully I did.
Chatgpt is definately helpful but if your not very carfeful it can be a disaster.

Yeah, it was a long day, I was tired and was hoping for a quick fix. Turned into hours of a VPS restore. Lesson learned.
@pstevens I forgot to ask, how did you manage to get imap installed for mautic? I canāt get that done on my amazon lamp server. Iām being led to Laminas Mail but havenāt tried that yet. Iām unable to get php imap going
Iām using my free AWS server for n8n, I normally install Mautic and SuiteCRM on WHM/Cpanel VPS with Imap. Sorry, never ran into that issue (yet). If you solve it please post a solution.
I tried to install both on an AWS lamp server. Ran out of room. Free plan is only 8gigs
In addition, it doesnāt support iMAP, so itās useless. You need to go with a paid plan. I have tried every which way to get IMAP to run, or use an IMAP alternative and either run out of space trying to build a docker or crash the server.
You dont need to have both on the same server, whst about just Mautic?
Mautic works but IMAP wonāt on Amazon AWS free tier. So itās useless.
Youāve come this far, just up the storage up to 20GB for less than $2 a month. Imap is supported on AWS, if space is the issue, just increase it.
Iām actually setting it up on Amazon LightRail. Itās about $12 per month and easier set up than EC2.

Got both suiteCrm and mautic running on Amazon Lightsail. Took me a week but Igot it done. Only using 8% of disk usage for the 2 so I can add more stuff there.
Iāll be watching your videos now on how to use them together. Thanks for the advice.
