Phone/Call integration in SUITECRM

Hi, I’m really stuck with phone call function integration in SuiteCRM 7 or 8. I have FreePBX, tried these multiple add-ons on marketplace, but none of them works. Dreamers at least try to help but anyway system don’t work even for test environment, not to say spending 1000 USD / year for it.
Has someone any working advice?

FreePBX settings can be hard to get right.

Have you tried asking the authors of the add-ons for assistance getting it right?

yes, Dreamers were responsive, but anyway, so much cli adjustments needed, so much core adjustments, and nothing. Also add on for v.8 is not operative at all. But we need to upgrade
