MCP Integration

Hi, many other CRM has added the integration to MCP:

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard developed by the artificial intelligence company Anthropic for enabling large language model (LLM) applications to interact with external tools, systems, and data sources.

I think it would be a great idea to integrate suitecrm with MCP too:

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open protocol that enables seamless integration between LLM applications and external data sources and tools. Whether you’re building an AI-powered IDE, enhancing a chat interface, or creating custom AI workflows, MCP provides a standardized way to connect LLMs with the context they need.

Yeah, it would be good feature considering current AI boom! :upside_down_face:

Hello Matteo,

it’s not exactly what you’re asking for, but I figured, expanding the tech stack around SuiteCRM is much faster / more valuable than developing inbuilt integrations. I’m often using n8n for integration.

I’ve recorded a demo of my most successful / easiest approach to CRM + AI + plenty other options so far:

MCP can then easily be connected via:

yes, but n8n is only for payment, what about starting to use activepieces that gives 1000 free automations and looks to be cheaper ?

n8n is published under a “Sustainable Use License” - you can just install it on your server: Sustainable Use License | n8n Docs

Additionally:
It’s possible to run n8n air-gapped (without any external data connectivity). n8n Plans and Pricing - n8n.io

These are two important factors: It fits license wise into a similar realm like SuiteCRM and more importantly, your data can really stay with you - compared to SaaS offerings.

If you either plan to never grow or have the budget increase calculated and it fits into your business plans, than those are viable alternatives.
make.com even has a native connector for Suite7: https://www.make.com/en/integrations/suitecrm7
