I first was introduced to SugarCRM in 2011 when I was hired to customize it for a law firm to do loan modifications and short sales following the crash. My unconventional implementation of it caught the attention of its creators. Just over a year into it, I found myself on the board of advisors to the CEO, invited to be a speaker at the SugarCON in New York at the Waldorf Astoria, and starting a consulting business specializing in business optimization through custom SugarCRM deployments.
A few years later, I left that world behind when my father had a stroke and could no longer run the family business he built to supplement his retirement income from his career as an airline pilot.
Many, many years later, after both my parents had passed, I had fallen head first into the world of filmmaking as well as various uses of my commercial drone pilot certificate.
It all came full circle when I started working with a drone operations company. There, I identified ways of increasing the overall efficiency and scalability of the company, which I casually discussed with the owner. Low and behold, I wound up accepting a role that put me right back into the career I was forced to leave over a decade ago.
So today, I’m building custom CRM solutions for industries that benefit from incorporating AI and drone technologies to increase efficiency and boost revenue.
