Is there a easy way when viewing an inbound email to quickly lookup any contacts associated with the from address?
As inbound emails are only ‘implicitly’ associated with contacts viewing the email does not provide a link to the contact name. The only way it seems to do this it to laboriously copy the from email address and then browse to the contact’s search form (which is quite painful and looses your email based context).
It seems to me that either the email should be explicitly associated with a contact on import from the inbound email account (possibly via a macro like the [Case] one), or make the from address click-able to perform a contact search.
Has anyone else come across this issue and if so how do you work around it?
