Global Search only shows up to 20 results per module?

Hello everyone,

Has anyone noticed that in SuiteCRM 8.1.3 (and 8.1.2) shows up to 20 results per Module? (20 leads, 20 accounts, etc.) Even if there are over 20 possible results?

Thought it was something with my instance but then decided to try the Suite CRM demo at https://suite8demo.suiteondemand.com (User/Pass: will/will) and the behavior is the same. Do a search for “%example” (as there are over 20 emails with example per module) and it only shows 20.

Havent tested with any other versions than the ones listed above.

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi @Yar

I searched on a SuiteCRM v8.1.3 and I was able to see results per page from 10-20-30-40-50 on the top left hand side of each listing.

Attached the screenshot.

Thanks for your response.

Please note that the problem isnt “Total Results”, its results PER module. Meaning that we can have over 20 possible “Leads” results but it shows up to 20.

Using the SuiteCRM Demo example, if you go to Accounts, you will see that most, if not all, emails contain the word “example” and there are 50 of them. If I do a search for that, it will show only 20 Accounts, not the 50 or so.

Please see attached screenshots.

One shows Possible results (50) and the other shows search results which is 20, instead of all of the 50 options.

Thanks again.

Had to do two posts and it only allows one upload per post for new users.

I am using the Official SuiteCRM Demo https://suite8demo.suiteondemand.com (User/Pass: will/will)

In the previous post, lists search results. Below, you will see Possible results (50)

Wanted to add that clicking “Next page” in the top right side, doesnt change the results shown, still shows the same ones as in the first page.

Hi @Yar

To change the number of rows per module, I go to Admin >> Settings >> User Interface
Then edit the field: Listview Items Per Page. The default value is 20.

Here is the screen capture

**I visited the Suite CRM demo at https://suite8demo.suiteondemand.com and the User “will” does not have admin privileges.

Well, I feel pretty stupid now. That did the trick! Thanks for your time and patience.
