Hi people,
I just installed a fresh version of V8.0.0. The installation went well and i pointed the document root to public.
But when i open the website in the browser it shows the actual code of the index.php file instead of rendering it.
What can I do? Anybody some ideas?

Seems like your webserver is not processing php files, and they are just being treated as plain text files. Are you using apache?
How does your vhost configuration look like?

Now it works!
