Automated installation suiteCRM

Here, let me Google that for you

bfy.tw/BMVQ

That is not helping!!
All pre-requisites are identified as OK. There is something else that the script doesn’t identify as a pre-requisite that is crashing the installation.
I was asking for a step by step guide without the installation wizard.

Maybe there is some confusion of concepts.

You asked for a “non automated installation” - that’s the wizard!

The “automated installation”, on the other hand, would be some click-to-deploy solution, or a scripted install.

There is no third option, no step-by-step manual install.

If you have problems in the install, I recommend starting your own thread (to avoid spamming all the people in this thread), and informing about your versions of everything (OS, database, PHP, web server, SuiteCRM). Also, include error messages found in installer.log or suitecrm.log.

I will help you out in that other thread, don’t worry.

Hi,

Anyone tried the Bitnami installers yet? Gonna try it now on Linux:

https://bitnami.com/stack/suitecrm/installer

In my impression, Bitnami is a very good product, well done and with excellent forum support.

However I stopped using them because of the trouble when trying to upgrade PHP or MySQL or any of the components. Not worth it.

You might be better off following this tutorial instead:

https://suitecrm.com/forum/installation-upgrade-help/11561-installing-on-ubuntu-16-04-1

See my post with my “install notes”. It really is so simple there’s no point in going into a system that has so many peculiarities like Bitnami.

Hi there, I am trying to download SuiteCRM onto my PC but I am struggling passed the download off your website. I am not a developer not an IT specialist
Unfortunately even after reading a couple of installation threads and youtube videos, I am still none the wiser, php, etc… :S
How do I have the software installed automatically and working on my PC like installing Skype or etc.
Can someone help please? Thank you

Hi NatP

usually it’s better to start your own thread when asking questions.

From what you say, I don’t advise that you continue installing SuiteCRM unless you can get some technical assistance. This is an enterprise application, not an installation “like Skype”. You need to understand at least the basics of running a web server.

Even if you could get it up and running, you would struggle to adapt it to your needs and work around problems.

Hi. I’ve installed SuiteCrm on my webhost, using installatron. The current version available on installatron is 7.9.4, and it’s working pretty well. After the annoucement of the new versión 7.9.9 i’ve tryied to install it, using the administrator’s upgrade wizard, but I got this message

*size of upload (4415379 bytes) exceded allowed máximum: 8388608

How can I fix this? I really want to install the latest versión

Thank you

It’s a php setting called max_upload_size or something similar. Google it… and increase the setting.

If you have further questions, please start your own thread, there’s no need for all the people in this thread to receive notification spam whenever you or I reply.

UPDATE I found a solution: change my php-ini value. But now, when I try to upload the SuiteCRm 7.9.9 file, I got this message

ZIP Error(0): Status(9): Arhive(upload://SuiteCRM-7.9.9.zip): Directory(/home/balmasch/public_html/crmv3/cache/upgrades/temp/byoYFV)

You need to turn on the zip/unzip modules, probably. Maybe you can find that in CPanel.

Start your own threads, don’t reuse old threads, and use one thread per issue, please.

UPDATE II: By mistake I was using the full package instead of the update. So dummy
