Automated installation suiteCRM

Hi Dominique,

I presume you restarted the apache web service after making the php.ini changes?

Does the redirection to index.php/Home occur just after the upload?

If it does not show the upload anywhere, it could be related to incorrectly set permissions.

If you can detail your server/environment set up, we can recommend permission to set.

Thanks,

Will.

Hello,
Weā€™re experiencing a couple issues with the new version as reported here:

https://suitecrm.com/community/forum/installation-upgrade-help

The current plan is to push the update next week after more solutions become available.
Thank you,
Phil

According to SuiteCRM the only ā€œverifiedā€ versions of PHP are PHP version 5.2.1-5.2.6, 5.2.8-5.2.15, 5.2.17, 5.3.0 - 5.3.6 Databases MySQL - 5.0x, 5.1 MSSQL - 2005, 2008 Operating systems.

I am experiencing the same issues but itā€™s into as urgent so I havenā€™t played around with installing an instance with the known-compatible versions in order to test the upgrade process. Some downgrade their versions (a pain in the butt). Other than that , maybe a database import of the old version would do? If I get time this weekend I will post my results.

hi
i want to install suitecrm in localhost by wamp
but in last step the wizard wont show any login page to enter user name or password!!!
it just show some Strict standards warnings!!!
can you help me?
thanks.
iā€™m using windows 8.1 if it maters.

you have to change you php.ini setting not to display errors, or to change you error reporting level not to show strict warnings

Hello,
I use softaculous on Arvixe. But there is no updating fonction. I tried to use Suite build in update manager but it fails and ends on a totally blank page. No menu, nothing.
:frowning:

Hello,

I would like to install SuiteCRM locally. Can someone help me, please ā€¦ how can I proceed?

On what type of setup? Windows or Linux?

You will need to have webserver running that supports php and mysql.

For windows you could try http://www.wampserver.com/en/

Thanks, Andy.
I already made it. And after that? What I do?

Extract the SuiteCRM zip file you downloaded to a folder within the root directory of your web server. Then go to your domain/foldername, For example if you extracted the Suite to a folder called suite on your local machine you would go to: localhost/suite in your browser. Create a database in mysql then follow the suite installation process.

If you are using wamp then you would extract suite within the www folder undaer wamp.

Dear Andy,

My apologies but it is the first time that I do this type of installation and I need more help.

I installed Wamp server and put unzipped folder of suitecrm named ā€œsuiteā€ in wamp folder.
In browser (mozilla) I wrote localhost/suite but nothing happened!
I have a mysql database. Where I have to put it?
Where I can find instructions about ā€œsuite installation processā€?
Thank you very much for your patience.

Is wamp running? There should be a little green icon bottom left in windows, right click on this and you should be able to open phpmyadmin which will let you create an empty database for suite. Also you should put the unzipped folder of suite into the www folder within wamp.

Maybe you should look up some tutorials on how to use wamp, you really need to know a bit about web servers and how they work to set up suite.

Bitnami is providing an installer for SuiteCRM 7.3.2, see https://bitnami.com/stack/suitecrm .

I used it to install on CentOS 7. It simply worked and they provide also some useful information in their wiki.
https://wiki.bitnami.com/Applications/Bitnami_SuiteCRM

I would encourage SuiteCRM / SalesAgility to refer to this installer for users who either are not so experienced or experience permission issues during installation.

Please note that I didnā€™t suceed to finalize the installation of SuiteCRM because of some permission issues on CentOS due to SELinux.

Hi MarkusP,

Thank you for your kind post here, I was feeling lost.

I just had finished downloading, installing and running Bitnamiā€™s installer for Windows 10, see http://www.bitnami.com/stack/suitecrm .

I used it to install on SuiteCRM 7.4.3 It simply worked and I am now start building my Personal CRM

I would encourage all users who either are not so experienced to use this GREAT installation.

Please note that I did succeed to finalize the installation of SuiteCRM without any issues on Windows 10.

Thanks to you all.

Can you ask them to update it ? The version is stuck on 7.2.2 via Installatron on godaddy

is it still on installatron? Can I use it to install CuiteCRM on my windows PC?

Hi Will,

I know this is an old post, but did you ever get this working?

Regards,

Ryan
