Wrong date for Date Created

I have built a custom module with a field for the date the record was created. I copied the way the Date Created field is in the Opportunities module.

When someone creates a new record in this module the date created is the date the module was deployed and not the current date. The field looks identicle to the field in the Opportunities module but has this issue. I am wondering if anyone has any idea why this is happening?

Why did you create a custom date created field? All modules are built with a standard Date Created and Date Modified field.

If it creates this field automatically then I didn’t create it. It isn’t using the correct date yet looks to be configures the same as date created fields in other modules that are using the current date.

Is there anywhere I can check to figure this out?

I’ve done some more investigation on this issue.

The database has the correct date created
The list view for the module shows the correct date created
The detail view still shows the incorrect date created

Any help would be great.

I am sure. no body will reply you because their support is very lazy. :frowning: its waste of time. :frowning:
