Would love to see, while uploading or creating a document, an option to choose a document/URL on GoogleDrive, DropBox etc… instead of just browsing to a drive.

Thank you for your suggestion. There are modules which you can purchase from Sugar Outfitters to link up to your google account to sync documents/emails etc. This may suit some of your requirements.
