Where can I grab a Sugar CRM config file, or do I first have to do an install of Sugar CRM before I can do SuiteCRM?

You have to install SuiteCRM before the confg.php file will appear.

I unzipped all of the SuiteCRM files on my VPS, then wanted to go to the install.php which gave an internal server error. I was assuming because I did not have the SugarCRM config that you mention in the list…

Nope. If you have an internal error, it could be permissions or missing files. What is your server set up?
