Hi all,
I’ve been struggling to find a reliable communication software for our enterprise setup. We need something that supports real-time chat, voice, and video — preferably with options for self-hosting and customization, since data privacy is a big concern for us.
I came across this blog on the best communication solutions which lists some interesting platforms, including MirrorFly. Has anyone here actually used it in a business environment? Or do you have other recommendations that worked well for your team?
Would really appreciate any honest feedback. This decision is turning out to be a lot harder than I expected.
Hello Daneil,
one customer is using Calls, chat and video conferencing with Nextcloud Talk and the integration with SuiteCRM via API and n8n is working quite ok.
Other than that, I’ve been playing around with Self-Hosted Installation Guide - Chatwoot Developer Docs . It packages a nice API - so the integration into SuiteCRM is very possible.
Additionally, customer service is brought to a new level with this one (compared to SuiteCRM).
One missing thing seems to be SSO - so users would need to manage to accounts.
As for video, Jitsi has been around for a long time.
I’ve got several projects with self hosted video - unfortunately, the streaming quality can seldom compete with Google or Teams.
Maybe it’s still worth a try.
One in all software - and open source / self hosted - so far I haven’t found one which can do it all.
The topics seem so specific, probably a best of breed approach might be a better choice, despite the integrations.
