Where can I associate a password ?

Hi team!

I have installed sugarCRM ver 7.3.1 and I have created one user but when I select it to create a password, the password tab doesn’t appear.

The new user is a administrator too. i’ve 2 users administrators. The first one (me) I can see the password tab (and others tabs):

  • User Profile
  • Passwrod
  • Themes
  • Advanced
  • External Accounts

but the another one I only see the next tabs and I can’t see the Password tab:

  • User Profile
  • Themes
  • Advanced
  • External Accounts

Anybody can help me in this case? How do I do to associate a password to the other user administrator???

Ahh, almost forget… I’ve to reset the Apache too and executed the option ADMIN -> REPAIR REPAIR in the SYSTEM section.

Hi,

It’s likely that you just need to disable the Generated Password functionality.

Navigate to Admin > Password Management
Untick the “System-Generated Passwords Feature” option
Save settings.

You should then be able to manually edit the passwords of other users.
