I follow these steps…
1.- Login into SuiteCRM and go to the emails module
2.- Create a new email with basic information and press Save Draft button
After that… Where can I find the draft I made to modify it in the future??
It is not in the List View of the emails module, nor any other modules or templates or email configuration…
If I check the manual I can read, “Drafts can be viewed by changing the folder in List view.” but I’m not sure what does it means.
I tried with an admin user and a normal user with no results.
This could be a super-basic thing and I’m sure it’s obvious, but I’m not able to find my suitecrm emails drafts. What am I forgetting?
Drafts should be found in the tree of folders on the Email Listview
However, you will likely only see this option if there are email accounts linked to users in the CRM
So,
If you go to your user profile's Editview and scroll to the bottom of the "User Profile" tab,
You should see a "Settings" option
Click “Settings”, then click onto the “Mail Accounts” tab, and add a Mail Account here
If correctly added, and the CRM is able to connect with the Account, you should see a change to the Emails Listview, and it will look more like this, (depending on which version of SuiteCRM you’re using):
Thank you so much @John
Yes, your answer brings a lot light , hehehe
So I’ll talk with our IT department to config all these settings and give it a try. Anyway, I don’t know if we finally will need this type of functionality about mixing the corporate email account with SuiteCRM. I thougt this was like another little email to manage campaigns and things like that. It’s time to go deep into this and see pros and cons.
