When to upgrade from SuiteCRM 6.5.15 to 7?

On the front page it says 6.X is the latest release of SuiteCRM. When does SuiteCRM 7 become the latest release? Sorry if the question is too basic. Thanks in advance.

Hi Bert,

SuiteCRM 7.0 & 7.0.1 have been released and 7.0.2 is due for release this week.

The core code base for SuiteCRM is the latest version of SugarCRM CE (currently 6.5.16).

SuiteCRM is currently on version 7 but is based upon the SugarCRM CE code base which is on version 6.5.x

I hope this clears any ambiguity.
