I am setting up my CRM for the first time and am a bit unsure about some settings.
I am looking at Administrator’s guide at
“Mail account Information” part is clear to me. These are settings of an email account where bounces will arrive. SuiteCRM grabs those emails via SSL IMAP.
But what is the meaning of “Bounce Handling Options”? Where will “From Name” appear and From Address and Reply to address and name? Is this for subsequent retries when our server will retry to send a bounced email? And: Why do we need Auto-Reply Template? Why there is only one while we have several bounce types?
Any clarification would be great. Thanks.

I am not sure of the correct reply to your question… but my hunch is that “bounce” here is not referring to
you sending out a campaign and receiving bounces back,
it is simply referring to
people sending you emails into an account where you’re not expecting that, and you bouncing those emails back to them.
Maybe you can test this simply by setting up an auto-reply template and sending an email into that account.
