Hi I need some clarification as to what import email actually does. When email inst imported it is still attached against the right account for example. When I import I see more modules can be attached to email but cant really see the practical use. So what is it it doing? I have also noticed the body of the mail doesn’t always get imported
I have connected my inbox to email on 7.9.2
You can view your inbox and folder from Emails list view
SuiteCRM is not auto archiving the emails to records in the database
You click import now and select the assigned to & related to module > record
Once “imported” it will be view-able and archived inside the “history” panel of that record

first of all I would advise upgrading to 7.9.4, there were quite a few email bugs fixed… see if that makes any difference.
oh I meant we are on .3
We have deployed .4 on a dev instance at the moment, we have learned not to put the upgrade immediately on production before testing first
