Web to Lead form on Joomla

Hello guys

I have been creating some web to lead forms today for a newsletter sign up,

Using 6/7 fields and the only change to the code is the background colour to white

I can download the web form to my computer and fill in the form etc and the form works well, emails are sent and leads are created

The issue Im getting is when adding the form to a Joomla Article(page), I paste the code inside the web page and I can see the form online

Going to the website, the form is there and you can fill in all fields - When clicking “Submit” or whatever you have named it - nothing happens, nothing

No redirect takes place etc

Any suggestions?

Joomla’s editor tries to be smart about custom HTML. When you drop the code in as HTML and then change to Editor (WYSIWYG) mode (to format the form, etc.) Joomla actually butchers the code. Switching back to HTML mode will show you that. I have found that editing the lead form code in another editor (Dreamweaver, Sublime, etc.) to get the format the way you want, then pasting it into the HTML editor in the article and never going to Editor (WYSIWYG) mode, then saving does the trick. Try it out.
