Hi,

First of all -> Great work. Love it.

Problem: When in Emails -> Mail Account Properties -> Outgoing Email -> From Name: non-Latin characters

Everywhere where possible is set UTF8 (including DB).

When email is created and sent (or saved as draft) from production server (hosted by Russian provider, reg_dot_ru) -> from_addr field in DB is re-encoded to Отдел Работы с КлиентамРfrom Отдел Работы с Клиентами. Subject and body are saved to DB correctly (UTF8).

At local dev server there is no issue.

I guess somewhere at RU side something messing something.

Subject and body are recorded correctly.

Recipient gets emails correctly as intended.

Were you able to solve this? i am facing same issue with French Names having é or ü in them. This has to do something with Character Set at i see the name as “?UTF-8?Q?Cl=C3=A9men=20MORTIER?=”

Since this is an english forum, maybe most of the Russian/French users were not able to post their concern.
