using gmail and sending email from my company domain

Hi, I have email working and sending from my gmail account. However, since I am emailing customers, I would like the emails to be sent from the email address @.com. When sending email from my actual gmail account, I can configure gmail to “send mail as” and use an alias. How can I configure this in suitecrm?

Hi,

In the admin account, I set “From address” for the specific user to be the email address I want to use, but it did not work. Do I also have to set it for the admin account? Or, do I have to change “from address” somewhere else?

By the way, I am using SuiteCRM version 7.8.17

Can you please go to “Email Settings” from Admin page and set the from address. This will be used for all the users.
For users specific settings you have to edit Email module settings for each users account separately.
