user groups and user access management

Dear all

i’m new her, i just installed the crm on my machine for test before start using it for my company…

i’m trying to manage the accessibility of the users by creating groups and trying to grant / revoke access to some features or areas of the crm …

from the page that shows the ability of the user to view or edit , if i try to edit , i lose this area in the edit mode…

second thing is , when i’m creating a user group, it just gets created as normal user and i cannot add users to it rather than authentication…

Sorry, I’m not understanding what you are running into. Make sure that you are logged in as an admin user when configuring permissions.

When you do set something up and are testing it for a user be sure to log out then back in as that user. Permissions are cached at the time of log in.
