Hi, we are using SugarCRM with Advanced Open Sales with quite a lot of upgrade-safe modifications - is it safe to upgrade SugarCRM to SuiteCRM?

it should be. I was using SugarCRM with upgrade safe mods, Not AOS though.
first Make a backup!!!
If you can clone your install and test the upgrade. It will save you time if you have issues. You wont be down even longer while you recover your install.
AOS is included in the SuiteCRM so it should not be a factor.
