Upgraded to 7.7 - Calendar not showing up anymore

Hi,

No calendar is showing up? I tried to repair and a few other things but nothing, including in the new theme.
Any idea?

Steven

Same here - Tried changing between all 3 themes and occurs with each.

Hi

I know we probably sound like a broken record as we suggest it for a lot of problems, but can you check your permissions are correct and do a repair and rebuild to delete SuiteCRM’s cache. It may also be worth deleting your browsers cache too.

All files in the Suite directory should be owned by your Apache user, so for example in a standard Ubuntu set up this would be achieved by running the following command whilst inside the suite directory.:

sudo chown -R www-data:www-data .

And to create the correct permissions run the following commands from inside suite directory:

sudo chmod -R 755 .
sudo chmod -R 775 cache custom modules themes data upload config_override.php

Please make sure you are definitely inside the suite directory before running the above commands as you don’t want to accidentally change all the permissions on your computer!

If after this you still have issues then could you please provide more information such as was this a straight install or an upgrade from a previous version and are there any errors in your suite log or your Apache log.

Thanks

Hi,

I tried the permission AND cleared all cache possible BUT same stuff happening: no calendar.

I will revert for now to 7.6.6 to work.

I find the new theme hard to use, many text menu links are white on pale greay making it hard to see.

Regards,

I am having the same problem with calendar.

For the theme-- I found that prior customizations to the theme colors I had made were conflicting with the final release. When I removed them from config_override.php, the suitep theme started working better (colors improved, and missing images which were white on white appeared)

7.7.1 seems to have fixed the calendar for me
