On page https://suitecrm.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrade it says “Upgrading to SuiteCRM from SugarCRM Community Edition
Upgrade paths are available for SugarCRM to SuiteCRM from the SuiteCRM downloads section of the SuiteCRM website. To validate what versions of SugarCRM are compatible with the respective SuiteCRM versions, please check the table below: SuiteCRM Version SugarCRM Version SuiteCRM 7.0.1 SugarCRM 6.5.x SuiteCRM 7.0.0 SugarCRM 6.5.x”
But the following instructions only provides info on how to upgrade SuiteCRM. I downloaded those files but I was looking for instructions on how to exactly upgrade from SugarCRM 6.5.x and there is nothing about this only SuiteCRM upgrades.
Please help me understand how I am supposed to migrate from 6.5. I had tried methods such as overwriting the SugarCRM files with SuiteCRM files (which is typical for LAMP apps) but that does not work. If someone can give me the step by step I will even update the wiki page with clear instructions for others in a similar position.
