Upgrade to version 7

I have LOCAL installed in C:\Bitnamii\suitecrm-7.5.3-0, …working good.

I saw the new Bitnami version and like to upgrade to ( I downloaded ) : bitnami-suitecrm-7.6.1-0-windows-installer

I have made, …via Admin,… a backup. of 7.5.3.-0. I have also a file backup 7.5.3. on USD drive.

How to proceed, now… the Admin/Upgrade …after system checking the files… is asking for a “zip” file, is that the Backup of the 7.5.3 ???

Any Need to delete or UNinstall (if required) the old file 7.5.3 and then install the new Bitnami 7.6 windows installer. ? …or FIRST install the 7.6 ?

I don’t think you can upgrade a bitnami stack with another bitnami installation. The hole purpose of a bitnami stack is that it’s one full installation with one click. You should and can upgrade with the normal process of upgrading your SuiteCRM installation https://suitecrm.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrade

I finally found Suitecrm Upgrade from 7.5.3 to 7.6.1 and it was no problem upgrading… in 5 minutes,
