Update

Hi. so i tried to update my crm from 7.10.7 to latest version 7.10.9 using the upgrade wizard, but it shows the following error:

database failure. please refer to suitecrm.log for details

which shows “modules/Administration/index.tpl:54 - MY_FRAME is not set”

Can you please explain what is the fix?

I had the same error and I’m not really sure why. I think it has to do something with the folder permissions. My workaround was to create a backup of my installation and DB and perform the upgrade on my local server. Once upgrade was completed I upload all to my production server. It worked for me, at least.

thank u do u think i could simply upload the files of the latest update .zip file by ftp, and that’s it?

My upgrade went through without apparent issues. But I’m seeing this error whenever I open the Admin Page:

[FATAL] log call at: modules/Administration/index.tpl:53 - MY_FRAME is not set.

What should I make of it? Apparently should have been adressed with this issue:

That won’t work. You need to use the wizard to perform the upgrade.
