Update email address field via workflows

Hi All,

My client is using OPPORTUNITIES instead of LEADS for the initial stages of marketing, and that wishes to allow the email address in CONTACTS to be updated from a custom field ‘email address’ created in Opportunities.

i.e… OPPORTUNITY WON CLOSED triggers worlflow and new record (CONTACT) is created with new fields populated from opportunity including email address, seems easy to do with other fields but email address I guess is somewhat special. Can anyone help with this?
