Unndefined array key \"LBL_CHANGE_PASSWORD\"

People think it’s a matter of “tell me which are the correct permissions so I can set them and have a secure server that runs SuiteCRM properly”, but that is simply not the correct approach.

There are no direct answers regarding this - it depends on many things, and 2755 is not necessarily terrible. You can still have a secure server because you locked things down in other ways. I am just telling you something that I think is reasonable and works for me.

About user name and group being the same. I asked if the group exists, because typically the system creates a group with the same name as the user name, but this is not necessarily so. You can only chown to myuser:myuser if a group was created with name “myuser”. You can check groups with cat /etc/group, and users with cat /etc/passwd.

You will likely find that you do have myuser user, myuser group, and that this user belongs to this group.

So you can chown to myuser:myuser, and if I were you I would set permissions to 2770 which would allow me to later add access to more users by putting them in the same group.

Thanks for the help

As for the username and group we are on a shared server so i can’t change those setttings. It uses cpanel username for both user and group

Just trying to make this work in that environment and I’m getting a little closer everyy time now, with the only problem remaining getting schedulers to run properly and campaigns actually going out instead of remaining in queue.

In the scheduler I see last run with a time and date with no reason why it’s NOt running when it should,it might show last run on 8/30 at 12:45 with no run since and I don’t know why.

UPDATE: The queue was sent.

This is NOT working:

cd /suitecrmpath/public/legacy; php -f cron.php > /dev/null 2>&1

But this worked:

/usr/local/bin/php /suitecrmpath/public/legacy/cron.php

Boy is this a trial and error project

I was finally able to get it to run a campaign. Once.

Then it stopped working again

Same old error messages I’ve seen reported since 2014, and you have contributed to those conversations, but there never seems to be a fix
