I think we are missing a track here. So, for your original question; do you have any errors in the log files? Does this happened randomly? Is it new instance or you’re using from the long time?
Sometimes it’s a permissions/ownership issue. Repair fails when it cannot delete a file or a directory because the Suite web application user doesn’t have the rights to write. Can you run the commands to reset file and directory permissions and ownership?
