Trying to add "Print to PDF" function to "Products" Module

Hi everyone!

In my company we use technical sheets for our products, sometimes clients want them and we lose a large amount of time to update them or create them and they’re never equalized - we have over 461 refs.
So I’ve thought: “what about creating a PDF Template and print it as a Technical Sheet?” - So I have followed this tutorial.

Almost everything is working fine: lists are working, the button on the “Detail View” of the product page is working, on the template editor I can add the fields that are assigned to “Products”, but…

Once I click on “Download Technical Sheet” - that stands for “Print to PDF” - this happens:

I’ve been researching but i can’t found the right solution - either because it’s not very common or i’m nor searching for the right keywords.
Any idea how to solve that? Thank you in advance.

PS: I’ve installed SuiteCRM on my server through Softaculous.

Hi, welcome to the Community! :tada:

I am not completely familiar with that solution you were trying to apply, I had seen it before but I never tried applying it myself.

Maybe the best advice I can give you is to look for more clues in your logs… if something is failing there might be an error message there.

Thanks for your quick reply.
I think that I wasn’t that clear with my topic.

What I meant to say is that my PDF, download and comes out like i showed in the image.

But, as a test, I created something else:

So, there’re some camps (i.e. $aos_products_part_number) that doesn’t show up, the same happens to the Image, and other stuff - it’s kinda irregular.

My reply was meant to try and provide us with some extra information. If your solution doesn’t work, or works erratically and partially, it is possible that your logs contain a relevant message.

If I don’t have any additional information I can’t make any progress helping you with your error - this is one of the difficulties when the issues people face aren’t happening on a clean SuiteCRM installation, but rather on a modified instance…
