Trigger Workflow on Contact creation

I might be looking in the wrong place, but when I’m in the ‘conditions’ area of a workflow and choose ‘contact’ as the object, it doesn’t give the choice of triggering on ‘created’.

Long story short, when a new contact is created I would like to clone an opportunity and assign the new opportunity to the new contact.

If a workflow is not the right way to do this, do you have any ideas?

Not in the conditions, it’s further above in the top options. A dropdown with options “modified records” and “new records”

Oh, I see. It’s the ‘Run on’ dropdown for which I have now selected ‘New Records’. Thank you! This will at least met me started in the right direction. Thank for the quick reply.
