its great the relate field connects to other modules, but can it be used as a search - so you type into the relate field and when you click on the mouse icon it has already filtered your required selection?
Hi, sorry to bump, but is this possible - use a relate field field as a search on another module?
If you cant use the relate field can you use any others?

The relate field should have a auto complete secion so as you type it should filter the results from the other module directly below the field ? is this not what you are looking for ?
yeh but i want to use that box to search everything thats in the module because there are multiple fields - that also have a link to a pdf.
