Hi,

I’m receiving this error “The provided database host, username, and/or password is invalid, and a connection to the database could not be established. Please enter a valid host, username, and password” - I am using the latest version of SuiteCRM, Ubuntu, with php7 and the latest version of MySQL

Everything I know about all this stuff is self-taught over the last year or so - so I’m unsure of some terminology, etc - but I have enabled privileges, used a different host, database, and still nothing.

Any ideas?

What are you doing, installing a fresh copy, upgrading, or just using an already installed SuiteCRM?

Have you checked your credentials in config.php
