I am testing the email app of SuiteCRM.
I setup Inbound and Outbound mail. Tests to send an email or to connect to IMAP are successful.
I defined the Folders I want to monitor. The Fodlers show up when opening the window.
Bit still, when I am in “View Email”, I am not able to see the Sent Items from my email server (IONOS).
What am I missing?
You can never see the sent items in your folder. This has never worked (at least in my recent memory).

there are a few shortcomings around emails in SuiteCRM.
Managing inbox folders, accessing sent emails, copying emails sent from the CRM to the sent folder to view them in a mail client, …
If you send from the CRM however, you can work with reports to show all emails that have been sent. (additionally to those, that you can see inside the contacts / leads).
However, there have been some improvements in the recent 8.9 release about email composing. And there are more improvements planned in 8.10:
