Hi, I am setting up SuiteCRM for a telesales company to replace their old inefficient system.

I have a few questions that I need to ask if SuiteCRM is able to do:

  1. When I setup a campaign, is there a way so that the telemarketers can be automatically assigned the next lead, I don’t understand how they are supposed to get their next lead from the target list I have added to the campaign.
  2. How does SuiteCRM manage redials? If they try to call someone and there is no answer can it be set as a redial and called again in a few hours for instance?
  3. When I import leads to the target lists, is there a way to check if duplicates exist before importing?
  4. Is there a way to sort/filter the target lists based on postcode for instance? So they can target certain areas?

  1. you have to set up a work flow. There are various options for assigning leads based on round robin or who is least busy
  2. Just reschedule the call and it keeps track
  3. This is automatic. Just tell it what fields you want to check for dupes on in the wizard
  4. Yes just set the filter to postal code is the list view

Is there anywhere that documents what I need to do? I have been looking online and I don’t seem to be finding what I need. I just need a telesales system. We have about 15 telesales staff and we have target lists with thousands of leads but I need these to be handed out automatically without conflicts. Essentially I just need them to be able to get a lead, ring it, record an outcome and then click next lead and it pops up with the next prioritized lead.

There are also many videos on YouTube that explain how to set up SuiteCRM. You will have to commit many hours to learning the software to be able to configure it for your needs. Alternatively, you can contact Sales Agility. They can set all this up for you for a consulting fee.

It pretty much does what your asking out of the box though. Start with call #1 press “save and continue” after you’ve logged the call and it goes to the next one on the list.

I’m thinking by your wording you don’t understand the difference between a “call” and a “lead”. A lead is the person. A call is the activity your telemarketer will be doing. You should really get your head around that first. The documentation is a good place to start.
