Task associated with a workflow not moving to history on Completion

Hi,

I have a task that when I mark it as completed does not move to the history section.

I have created a custom drop down field for recurring frequency, ie when a task is created one can select to make that task recur daily, weekly etc. following the advice given here https://suitecrm.com/forum/suggestion-box/2280-recurring-tasks

I then built a workflow using this drop down as a condition along with the condition of task completed. So if a task is marked to recur weekly, then when the task is marked complete, a new task is created for 1 weeks time via the work flow.

Hassle is when the task is marked as complete, it is not reassigned to the history section. The new task appears in the activity section. It is as if the original task is being modified rather than a new record created. I have checked the workflow and it is set to create a new task and not modify the existing.

When I complete the task not do not set it to recur, ie the workflow trigger condition is not met, then the task does move to history.

So this indicates the error lies in the execution of the work flow.

This means that there will no record of each completed task nor the notes taken in regard to the task of the week.
