Hi, I’ve installed 7.9.1 today (not an upgrade) and am playing around rather successfully.
The biggest issue I have run into so far is something that seems by design, and I wanted to see if anybody else had any experience / ideas.
SuiteCRM target and lead records seem very tied to an individual’s first and last name. The challenge I have is that the lists I have refer to companies, not people. The options I have are either duplicating the company name into last name or specifying a placeholder like “none”. Neither is very attractive.
Going into custom/module/Parterns and Leads, I have been able to tweak the list views to show the account name and make it the link instead of the name. However, I have not yet been able to get things like the “Recently Viewed” list to go off of anything but name. I can’t get the main label on top of the Partner or Lead view/edit pages to go off of account name either.
Is there any way to update what the “primary” field is for displaying on page headers and Recently Viewed labels?
