SuiteCRM v7.10 - Field Issue ; Subject (*) //required ; Notes

Good Day, thanks in advance for your time.

I have a demo instance of the v7.10 setup. Am seeing an issue of the Subject line in a repeatable example of Notes in an Opportunity.

Specifically,

  1. I can create a new Note (History sub-panel in Opportunities
    1a) On create the Subject line is required and can only save if provided (this is the behavior expected)
  2. Save the Note and provided details are accurately displayed in the sub-panel list
  3. IF a Note is selected from the list, the ‘Detail View’ does not show the Subject line (like it is another field …)
  4. IF the Note is set to ‘Edit’ , the Subject from original entry is not there and a required entry must be made to save
  5. Any new Subject line entry on save becomes the ~new~ Subject in the sub-panel list view.

since the fix is in a generic file, I think it will fix both Notes and other modules. Tell me how it goes.

I tested a few of the Notes and that did the fix.

Should this close this now? Is that something you do or I?
