Hi all, I’m Ali, one of the engineers behind SuiteBrain AI (suitebrainai.com). I’ll be keeping an eye on this thread, so ask anything technical here.
Two updates since the post went up:
- It’s now tested with all four apps mentioned above: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini and Grok. Every app uses the same connector address, https://mcp.suitebrainai.com, and you enter your company code on the sign-in page.
- There are step-by-step setup guides for each app, and for preparing SuiteCRM’s V8 API, at suitebrainai.com/learn.
A tip that saves most people half an hour: if setup says “Client authentication failed”, the secret is usually fine. The OAuth2 client is the wrong type. It needs to be a Password client, not a Client Credentials client.
We’re also discussing the bigger question of where AI should sit in SuiteCRM in this thread, with some great input from Paul and Bastian.
