I was looking into SuiteCRM for my company and came across it and we were impressed although it is still under review. Shortly afterwards being an editor on a freeware site. I wrote a short comment there about SuiteCRM and I am thinking of writing a full post about it as I am impressed.

However what confused us was is there a freeware version of SuiteCRM?
We went here and saw this.
https://suitecrm.com/suitecrm/comparison
It does state “free download” and in the product comparison link has nothing listed as freeware.
Yet other sites here state
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SuiteCRM
“SuiteCRM is a software fork of the popular customer relationship
management (CRM) system SugarCRM. It is a free and open source
alternative to paid editions of SugarCRM products, and is based on the
last open-source release,”

All talk about a freeware version.
However, there are no links to a free version of SuiteCRM.
Could you please clarify whether there is a freeware version or what is the story?
Thanking you in advance.
