Thanks for the news - it looks way better and modern.

One question about the “Missing Features”
https://pre-release.docs.suitecrm.com/8.x/admin/releases/8.9/
Did you plan those for the 8.9 release, for a 8.9.x or are these things part of the

  • Emails Improvements
  • Further Campaigns Improvements

in 8.10?

Hi @BastianHammer

Thank you for your question

Our aim is to include the Missing Features in the final 8.9 release

@suitecrm_team such a great work! It got installed in less than 30 seconds and also it feels faster than previous versions.

This is great… Will "Iframes" finally work on default without having to use legacy mode?

Thank you so much @suitecrm_team.

When will we have a image field with the new interface?

Hi @rasel

This is not something that will be in this release specifically, thank you for highlighting it, it is something we all assess for the future

Hi @hoangbao

For this release we’re working on file uploads, which is a precursor to having the image field working on the new interface. So image fields will be something we will be aiming to include in the next release 8.10.

Yes, we need file upload field type in the SuiteCRM.

Great to see the SuiteCRM 8.9 Beta release with such meaningful enhancements!

The updates to Campaigns and Email Marketing, along with the redesigned Email Compose experience, look promising. The addition of Multi-Relate fields is also a welcome feature that will definitely enhance flexibility in record linking.

Looking forward to exploring the developer improvements and providing feedback based on real-time testing. Appreciate the continued commitment to improving SuiteCRM.

Keep up the great work! :+1:

For the new campaigns:
After creating a new campaign, I can see Leads and Accounts related to the campaign.

If I’d conduct a snail mail / trade show / etc. campaign, how can I related the Contacts and Targets to the campaign?

When trying to send a test message from the Email setup, that works smoothly and my test mail is being inboxed.

Then, I try to send an email to a test lead and I just see the spinner / loading icon:

No updates to the prod.log, nothing in the php access or error log and the POST request just won’t receive a response.
I’ll keep on digging - maybe it’s my setup, just wanted to check whether anybody else can replicate that?
The CRM can’t be reloaded then - I’d have to restart Apache in order to keep on using the server / the CRM.

How can I add them to my modules?
I seem to not have them available in my studio?
