Hello, when I install SuiteCRM 714.7, the installation stops with this message “Creating SuiteCRM configuration file (config.php)Creating SuiteCRM application tables, audit tables and relationship metadataCreating the database Sql1111111_4 on 31.11.11.11…done” and does not continue with the installation, it does not create the tables in the database and gives me a message to unblock the installation. The server where my CRM is hosted is ARUBA.it, I tried to make some changes in the ini.php file as per the indications found online but nothing worked. I granted write permissions to the folders /cache /custom /modules /upload and to the file config_override.php but nothing. The version 714.3 does not have any installation issues. I also tried to perform the upgrade, but when it comes time to create the tables, the browser gives me an HTTP 500 error. The PHP version is 7.4. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you, Pietro.
Hello Pietro,
which package do you have with aruba?
The “Advanced Linux Hosting” leaves the impression that SuiteCRM could work there.
Thank you for the valuable response. In the meantime, I was able to install version 714.7 by copying the empty database structure from version 714.3 while keeping the User tables filled. During the repair of the tables, the system triggered a correction query and everything works very well. The problem was in the DB creation procedure. Shared hosting could indeed create issues with SuiteCrm, especially for version 8.8, which crashes during installation. Thank you again.
Yes, exactly.
It might work, in some cases the installation takes way longer than an installation on a VPS and in some cases, it’s just not going anywhere.
The best option is, to provide a solid and suitable environment for your CRM. Then the installation works smoothly and just takes a few minutes.
