Hello, good afternoon!
I am using the iCal integration URL to subscribe to SuiteCRM Calendar using Google calendar on iOS. The subscription is done correctly and the created events (calls, meetings and tasks) are propagated to Google Calendar; The problem is that, once subscribed, when generating a new event, it does not propagate to the Google calendar, the only way to see it is to delete the calendar and import it again. How can I correct this issue?
Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the issue:
1. Refresh the Calendar: Sometimes, calendars need to be manually refreshed to display new events. Try pulling down to refresh the calendar view in the Google Calendar app on iOS to see if the new event appears. 2. Check Sync Settings: Ensure that your Google Calendar app is set to sync with external calendars, including SuiteCRM Calendar. You can usually find this option in the settings or account preferences within the Google Calendar app. 3. Check Subscription Settings: In SuiteCRM, check the subscription settings for your iCal integration URL. Make sure that it’s set up to sync new events automatically and that there are no restrictions or limitations that could be preventing new events from syncing properly. 4. Re-Subscribe: As you mentioned, deleting the calendar and re-importing it seems to temporarily fix the issue. While this isn’t an ideal solution, it may be a quick workaround until the root cause of the problem is identified and resolved.
