We’re planning to upgrade SuiteCRM from 7.11.13 to 8.8.0 .
Currently, our database is running on MySQL 5.7.44 .
Do we also need to migrate the database to MySQL 8.0 for compatibility, or will SuiteCRM 8.8.0 still work with MySQL 5.7.44?
Also, what would be the better option to follow in this case, stick with 5.7 or move to 8.0?
Hey
Looking at the compatiblity matrix for SuiteCRM 8.8 . It is compatible with MySQL 5.7
So if you don’t want to upgrade mysql you are still good with mysql 5.7
