Hello,

I installed it, I’m testing it and it works very well.

Thank you very much.

I have 2 comments / questions:

The standards email editor is very basic, even bullets are missing from it. Is it possible to use a more enhanced editor as dafault?

Majority of the CRM activities start with a search.
The current filter functionality and UI requires more clicks, and Advanced filter even requires scroll down.
It is much less productive, than the previous procedure was. Please consider fine tune filtering.
The old approach was perfect, and it was easy to overview on a desktop. The Basic search should be always visible at least somehow.
I understand, that the current filter functionality, and the UI in general is optimised to mobil usage, but majority of the users still spend their time on desktops. It leads to the neverending theme topic… Maybe one separate desktop and one mobile theme should be developed. It would require extra development efforts, but at the end of the day it would generate more satisfied users on both cases.

installation worked great for me too (on a Mac)

Installation ran perfectly smoothly.

THX FOR 7.10

FYI, my Upgrade from 7.10RC2 to 7.10 worked flawlessly, but I experienced an issue getting UNDEFINED in some Labels and Messages. This was resolved with help from Support by: Rebuilding htaccess, doing Quick Build & Repair; and clearing my Browser History.

I have 2 questions:

  1. Refined SuiteP theme ==> where/how are colors managed? I do not see anything in User Guide, under THEMES or elsewhere
  2. New REST API - A new Rest API (v8) using the popular JSONAPI specifications==> Where is 7.10 REST API Developer Guide?

Best Regards

According to the LTS documentation, 7.10 is supposed to be an LTS version. I’m several versions behind (before LTS was a SuiteCRM offering). It is time to come forward, but I want to ensure that 7.10 is in fact an LTS version.

Also, and there is probably a better board to ask this but since we’re on the subject, since there is no upgrade from my version to 7.10, is the best interim version 7.8.15, since it was an LTS, on the way to 7.10?

Hi jmahan,

  1. You can access the theme colors in user profile -> Layout Options.
  2. You can find the developer documentation on the new site here: http://docs.suitecrm.com/developer/

Thanks.

Hi sieberta,

The roadmap is indeed correct, 7.10 is an LTS version. However we will hold off on attaching the LTS label to it until it has gone through the intensive bug fixing sprints following the ‘version 0’ release. This post-production bug fixing sprints usually deploys a couple of minor releases (v7.10.1/2) to ensure that when we apply LTS that we can guarantee a greater stability and security of the 7.10 version.

Thanks.

Hello,

I see everything very well with the new version  . But there is something important that we use with SUITECRM, which is KREPORT. Before it worked fine but in this version I can not make it work correctly. it installed the KREST Core 2.5.3 but it does not work.

Please someone help me.

Example webbrowser inspector error:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

KREST/KReporter/core/vizcolors?_dc=1519316641566&nodeid=&page=1&start=0&limit=25

KReporterDesigner.js:14 server-side failure with status code 500

Thank you very much.

@jrivas I’ve opened a new thread for the KReporter issues.

Thank you very much, @John - EZS,

We are looking for the solution to problem with KREPORTS. If I find the solution, I’ll tell you.

Thank you.

I understand that the people behind KReporter will not be making an edition available for SuiteCRM.

The SuiteCRM project will not be making any efforts to make KReporter compatible with SuiteCRM. KReporter is not open source.

If you need KReporter, then I suggest that you lobby them for the necessary changes …

Hello @salesagility.

First of all, thanks for this project, it is wise.

Follow their recommendation and I will contact them to help us.

The Suitecrm report module is good but I have had difficulties with the charts

thank you very much.
