How do I enable Suite email archiving service? I don’t see the choice in the admin panel.
What are you trying to archive from? You can set up SMTP and IMAP accounts in the ‘Email’ module. There are also integrations on the web to archive/sync mail such as Opacus, Grinmark, Riva etc.
I want to send email (from external editor) to clients and BCC the email to SuiteCRM to record the email in the history of the contact record. That is a feature of email archive. That feature is available only in Sugar Professional and above. I was hoping that Suite CRM had enabled it for us.
That should work as standard. What issues are you having?
Will, in Sugar Community addition, and Suite CRM, we can send an email to our real estate clients and CC it to the contact record in Suite CRM just fine. However, the client thinks the email is spam because they can see the weird email address in the CC field that records the email to history.
Unfortunately, if you move the Suite CRM Contact Email email address from the CC field to the BCC field and send the email, it doesn’t record in the contact’s history.
After searching the internet for the resolution, I found people who told us we would need to activate archive email to get the BCC method to work. SuiteCRM doesn’t have a check box to activate Archive Email.
